Adele Calls Out Fan During Concert: ‘Stop Filming Me’

OMG! Did Adele say what we think she did? The vocalist actually called out a fan during her ’25’ tour in Italy, telling them to stop filming her! Does this mean no more videos of Adele for good?!

We’d hate to be the guy that Adele blasted. The singer stopped in Verona, Italy on the European leg of her 25 Tour on May 29. And in the middle of her blowing the crowd away with her incredible vocals, she took a minute to call out a fan who was video recording her! Check out the video.

It’s not what you’re thinking; Adele is not having a Justin Bieber, 23, moment. She totally welcomes fan pictures and videos, but not when you’re supposed to be enjoying the show. Tsk, tsk!
“Can you stop filming me with a video camera?” Adele asked an anonymous lady in the crowd. Adele’s plea was ironically caught on another video recording. “Because I’m really here in real life. You can enjoy it in real life,” she continued.
Although the woman isn’t shown in the footage, the singer called her out after she saw her setting up a tripod in the packed crowd. “This isn’t a DVD,” the 25 singer continues. “This is a real show, and I’d really like you to enjoy my show,” she added.
Ouch! Getting called out in front of a crowd of thousands or millions has to be really embarrassing, but the “Send My Love” singer may have a point. Adele is all about the music and wants fans to sing along with her and enjoy the tunes rather than worry about who’s watching their social media.

And she’s actually not the only one! Many singers have called out fans for paying attention to their phones rather than enjoying the live music they paid so much to see. Justin Bieber infamously called out fans and other artists at the Billboard Music Awards for paying more attention to the cameras than the talent. “A lot of people in the audience there to be seem worried about how much camera time they will get or who they can network with.” he said.

It looks like the moral of this story is, next time, fans should keeping the recording to their cell phones. Because hello — Adele wants you to enjoy the moment!
